2026 Bat Rule Update - 15U & 18U

Baseball Canada has moved toward allowing -3 BBCOR bats at the 15U and 18U National Championships.

Starting in 2026, players in these divisions will have the option to use either:

• Wood bats (under current guidelines), or
• -3 BBCOR bats

This change applies only to 15U and 18U.

With both options available, many players may choose BBCOR, but wood bats will still be permitted.
